چکیده
Jatropha curcas L. is one of the seed plants that have lipase activity and can work well in hydrolysis reactions chemical synthesis. This study aims to determine reacts with castor oil organic solvents. In this research, solvents, especially hydrophobic were used reaction increase lipase's catalytic activity. The solvent has a hydrophobicity level between 2 4, namely hexane. research stages consisted isolation, assay, effect adding metal ions analysis compound oil. results showed jatropha seeds had crude 0.603 U/mL increased 0.911 after addition K+. result transesterification by ricinoleic acid (4,58%) methyl (11,67%), concentration (17.09%) (60.83%) esterification produces alkyl ester compounds such as palmitate, ethyl pentadecanoate, linoleate, oleate, stearate. isolated from not only catalyzes but also synthesis transesterification.

متن کاملCOMPARATIVE STUDY OF ENZYMATIC TRANSESTERIFICATION OF Jatropha OIL USING LIPASE FROM Jatropha curcas and Jatropha gossipyfolia
Biodiesel consists of monoalkyl esters of long chain fatty acids. It is produced from vegetable oils or fats either by chemical transesterification with methanol or ethanol. The cost of lipases and the relatively slower reaction rate remain as the major obstacles for enzymatic production of biodiesel as opposed to the conventional chemical processes. The enzymatic process offers several advanta...
